Valentine's Day Chocolate Roses!

Hello readers! From now until Valentine's day, I will be posting up some valentine recipes. Today I chose chocolate roses. These are very simple to make, plus they look very elegant. The only thing the roses require are patience and chocolate! Also the best part is that they taste great! So let's get started!

              You will need:

  • chocolate

Steps
  1. Take a small piece of chocolate and shape it so it forms the center of the rose
  2. Take another piece of chocolate and shape it so it is a small ball.
  3. Press the ball in its center so it forms a thin circle. These will serve as the petals.
  4. Take the first ball and flatten it out. Wrap it around the cone.
  5. Keep making the balls and wrapping them around the cone. Make sure that both the sides look even.
  6. Do this until you have reached the desired shape and size of your rose. (Each time you wrap the petals around the rose, bend the petal very slightly).
  7. Eat!

You can use these roses for cake decorations too! You can make them big or small. If you want to make them multicolored, buy a colored piece of chocolate. And of course, the white chocolate roses are the best.  I hope everyone enjoyed this recipe. Remember, the comments section is always open for advice, suggestions, or questions. Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Hello readers! This week's theme is chocolate! You must be thinking that almost all of my posts have something to do with chocolate. I quite agree, so each week I am going to try to come up with a new theme. This is why I  really need your comments, so I don't run out of themes! Anyway, today I am going to be showing you how to make chocolate fudge brownies. These are really a treat and excellent to distribute at a birthday or a party. So let's get started!

        You will need:

  • milk chocolate
  • granulated sugar
  • coffee powder
  • salted butter
  • cocoa powder
  • flour
  • a little bit of water
  • two eggs

                                     Steps

  1. Combine some of the coffee powder and water. Stir thoroughly until this  mixture is a dark brown color. Set it aside.
  2. In a bowl combine the sugar and the butter (stir them until they have reached a smooth consistency).
  3. Add in the eggs and the remaining coffee powder. Stir the ingredients until they are thoroughly mixed.
  4. Melt your chocolate so it reaches a smooth consistency and for about ten minutes, let it cool.
  5. After the chocolate has cooled, add in the flour and cocoa powder. Stir them together so they reach precisely the same consistency as the melted chocolate. Also add the other mixture (the one with the sugar, butter, etc.).
  6. Line a baking paper with parchment or wax paper and pour your chocolate mixture into it.
  7. Put the brownies into the oven for thirty minutes.
  8. Eat!

White Chocolate Ganache

Happy New Year's everyone!(It's a bit late, my apologies). Today we are going to start the New Year with a simple and delicious recipe. White chocolate ganache! This is highly useful in many ways and not to mention, super easy to make. At the most, it'll take fifteen minutes. Ganache can be used to fill or ice any of the following items: cake or cupcakes. So let's get started!

          You will need:

  • three fourth cup heavy cream
  • 7 oz. white chocolate

Steps

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a pot until bubbles begin forming at around the rim of the pot. This is crucial because half of your recipe relies on heavy cream.
  2. Chop up the chocolate into small pieces with each piece being no longer than an inch. This will make the chocolate easy and fast to utilize.
  3. Put your chocolate into a bowl and take the cream off the stove. You will notice that it has bubbles around the rim of the pot.
  4. Pour the cream into the chocolate and scrape off as much as you can with a spoon or spatula.
  5. Slowly stir the chocolate and cream mixture until it is thoroughly combined. You will notice that the hot cream melts the chocolate.
  6. Let the mixture cool for about a half an hour.

I hope everyone enjoyed this recipe. Remeber, the comments section is always open for advice, suggestions, or questions. Bye and keep coming for more mouth watering recipes!
