Today I will show you how to make designs in small spaces. For small spaces, my advice would be to make sure the design is full with a small amount of white space. In small spaces the designs tend to be swirls or some kind of curved pattern. Small spaces are hard to design because every thing needs to be sharp and clear. I do not recommend marker for small spaces because it makes the sharp and clear design thick. I strongly suggest sharpened colored pencils.
Small space designs work really well when you use them in the right areas. Use them in the side of pictures, not the middle of them. If you use them in the middle, then they will barely be seen to make them in the side of pictures. Make sure you don't just make the designs in a square. Make them in all different shapes but the size should be small for the designs to work. The photo shows a few designs you can try.
