Special Christmas Post!

        Hello everyone! How many places can you think of that have a special Christmas celebration every year? Today I am going to name and describe many places that have Christmas celebrations so if you're not going to go on a vacation, you can spend time with your family at some of these amazing sites. Let's get started!





           Rockefeller Center

        Rockefeller Center is famous for its annual Christmas tree lighting. This activity has been attracting viewers for more then 75 years! It was built by the Rockefeller family in 1933. John D. Rockefeller had built it during the Great Depression for the unemployed people. Over 40,000 people had found jobs with this amazing project. Rockefeller Center is now located in Manhattan, New York.

  1. People have tried to climb the Christmas tree before
  2. The Christmas tree is 75-90 feet tall and it takes over five miles of lights do decorate it
  3. The tree is worth 1.5 million, with all the diamonds and crystals    on it

        Pierre, South Dakota
    Pierre, South Dakota is well- known for its "indoor forest". This is a over- hundred year old capital and hundreds of Christmas trees fill the hall with light each year. There is also an annual parade and all the politicians serve pie. Groups from all over the world come to provide entertainment and joy, so this seems like the finest place to be at Christmas. The atmosphere always includes joy, giving, and laughter.

  1. There is a train ride which is called "Holiday Express" in which you get to meet Santa
  2. There is a "Breakfast With Santa" event in which Santa joins you for breakfast
  3. The parade goes on from six p.m. to twelve a.m.

        Santa Claus Village, Finland
      This area is excellent for kids and parents both to enjoy. Santa Claus comes out and shows you around his village. He is happy to take photos, hug your child, and give them his twinkling smile which is the life and soul of the visit. Then he leads you to Santa Park, which is an amazing amusement park that has amazing rides and more of Santa filled fun. Another part of the village is Santa's forest. Santa personally gives you a tour and you get a chance to meet Santa's reindeer. This place is a great one to visit and it leaves you with tons of happy memories and a big smile.

  1. The tour runs from April- December so you can go anytime you like. 
  2. There are reindeer sled rides
  3. There are many shops and arts and crafts centers

  2. Cool places, I definatly want to visit Santa Claus Village someday; it sounds like a merry place. Have you ever been to Christmas village? It is in Pennslyvania and it covered with colorful lights, Christmas decoration, and scenes from Christmas history. It is amazing and I suggest to visit it because you won't regret it! Anyways, bye and keep bring more dessert recipes!
